My time at SSG required me to get involved in a good amount of video and event production tasks. The Salt Lake City HCS Minor for Halo Infinite was a perfect example of my ability to build call sheets, schedule production, and work with content creators to produce pre-event and live event media.

HCS SLC Pro Player Media Day

We had a separate call sheet for every major day for this event. This specific call sheet was for general pro player media day; happening a day before the main event began

Though this event was planned for over six months, I was in charge of creating a general organization for every piece of content and film production flowing before, during and after this event (zoom in if you'd like).

Media day consisted of the SSG content team and an external production company. For the actual creative of this shoot we had a very menial budget. We worked under $1000 to build a set for this event.

The creative goal of this shoot was to collect footage we could use during the event and live streamed videos that reflected the players personalities in a fun and never-before-seen type of way. So we rented a whole bunch of plastic balls, bought a swimming pool from Walmart and rolled with it!

An example of our media day selects in action. This was posted by the Microsoft official HCS account on Twitter as a day recap. Interwoven within is gameplay, shots of Salt Lake City and ball pit footage.

HCS SLC On-stream Skits
We really wanted to make this event our own! So as a part of the broadcast on Twitch going out to hundreds of thousands of viewers, we created a no-commercial-break broadcast stocked full of unique content that the community could enjoy. I was in charge of coordinating the production of this content from our creators.

Here's a handful of my favorites below:
Every piece of content was worked on by multiple people in this category.
I am grateful for all the hard work put in by my team and branching teams including
Spacestation Nebula, Spacestation Labs and Spacestation Satelite.
